Ground for Sculpture is a 42-acre sculpture park and museum. Founded by artist and philanthropist Seward Johnson, Grounds for Sculpture presents and conserves an exceptional collection of contemporary sculpture and offers outstanding seasonally rotating exhibitions in six indoor galleries. Since its inception, the park is now exhibiting over 270 works, including sculptures by renowned artists Anthony Caro, Beverly Pepper, KiKi Smith (stained glass window designed by artist Kiki Smith and architect Deborah Gans at The Eldridge Street Synagogue) in Manhattan, and New Jersey sculptor George Segal. You will see a wide range of artistic works by living artists with significant influence on contemporary sculpture.
